Why by road

Over these distances, door to door changes the arithmetic

Comparing a train journey and a private transfer on the advertised duration alone is misleading. The train measures station to station; the transfer measures your door to your real destination.

In between sit the trip to the departure station, the wait, moving the luggage, then crossing the arrival city. On a Brussels – Paris, those steps easily add up to the journey time itself.

A private transfer becomes particularly relevant from two or three passengers, with luggage, or when several addresses have to be served on the same day.

One way, return, or driver on standby

Three arrangements come up regularly, and they are not priced the same. One way covers a journey with no return planned. A return books both legs in a single enquiry, which saves organising the way back once you are there. Driver on standby means the driver remains on site between two journeys, for example for a same-day business return.

State which applies in your enquiry: it is one of the elements that determine the quote.

Other destinations

The journeys above are the most requested, but they are not a limit. Rotterdam, Maastricht, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Liège, Namur, Strasbourg or Frankfurt can be requested in exactly the same way — simply give the destination address.

For a journey to an airport rather than a city, see airport transfers: there the organisation is built around the flight time.

A long-distance journey to organise?

Pick-up address, arrival address, date, time, number of passengers and bags: those details are enough to produce a price.
