Private transfer Brussels – Charleroi Airport

Charleroi is roughly an hour from Brussels, and most low-cost flights leaving from it depart early. That is precisely when public transport is least usable — and it is the journey we are asked about most often.

The real problem at Charleroi is the departure hour

A 6.20 a.m. flight means being at the desk around 4.30. Leaving from Brussels, that means stepping out of your door at about 3.15. At that hour the Brussels metro is not running, the shuttle bus from Brussels-Midi departs infrequently, and you still have to reach the station first.

A private transfer removes that first step entirely: the driver comes to your address, at the exact hour your flight requires, whatever that hour is.

Private transfer or the shuttle bus from Brussels-Midi?

The coach from Brussels-Midi is the cheapest option and works perfectly well for one traveller leaving during the day. Its limits sit at either end: you must reach Midi yourself, keep to a fixed departure, travel with counted luggage, and allow a margin in case you miss it.

From two or three people the price gap narrows sharply, and the journey becomes door to door. For a group, a family or a night departure, the arithmetic usually favours the private transfer.

Coming back, often late at night

The return poses the opposite problem. Many low-cost flights land in the evening or at night, sometimes late. Piecing together a coach and then a train back to your commune can take longer than the flight itself.

Give us your flight number and you are met at the actual arrival time, then taken straight to your address.

Luggage and low-cost flights

Low-cost carriers charge for hold luggage, which pushes many travellers to leave with several bulky cabin bags rather than one large case. Give the real count in your request: it avoids an awkward surprise at loading time.

Also from the rest of Belgium We run transfers to Charleroi Airport from Grimbergen, Vilvoorde, Leuven, Mechelen, Antwerp, Ghent and Namur. Simply state your pick-up address.

Good to know

Charleroi Airport — frequently asked questions

Do you run night transfers to Charleroi?

Yes — night departures are among the most requested journeys to Charleroi. Give the departure time of your flight and the pick-up time is calculated from it.

How long does Brussels to Charleroi Airport take?

Allow 50 minutes to 1 h 10 depending on your pick-up address and the hour. The route is largely motorway, though crossing the ring road can add time during the day.

Is it worth it if there are several of us?

The price is per vehicle, not per person. The larger the group, the smaller the gap with individual coach tickets — with a direct journey from your address on top.

Can I be dropped somewhere other than the main terminal?

Drop-off is in the designated passenger zone in front of the terminal. If you have a specific need (reduced mobility, bulky equipment), mention it in your request.
